I had the pleasure of having Blaž as my running coach for the last year. Before getting a running coach I had gotten into running on and off over the years and never really progressed with it. I could run 10k occasionally but it was always a struggle. I wanted to learn to how to properly train meaning resting, recovery, periodization and different training styles so that I could actually see improvements. Blaž was so helpful, he is not only a great coach but he is great at educating you on the topic to help you understand everything. He not only taught me the basics, but went into detail about training zones, rest and recovery, learning about heart rate and so much more. He answered any questions I had in great detail and I felt he really knows his stuff when it comes to training. I went from struggling to get to 10k to running well past a half marathon distance comfortably! I started working with Blaž this past winter. After seven seasons of cycling, I decided for the first time to work with a coach, and I’ve learned a great deal. I finally discovered my true training zones and the importance of training within them. Thanks to this approach, my progress this season has been the greatest so far. Most of our communication happens through an app, where the coach analyzes each of my workouts, provides feedback, and highlights areas for improvement. For next season, we’ll already begin preparing later this year, so my expectations are high.
